Senior Project Manager

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager, to join the Rail Programme team, which is part of the MCA's Transport Directorate. The successful candidate will work on projects which form part of the MCA's award winning 'MetroWest' rail programme, including the design and construction of new stations, re-opening of rail lines to passenger rail services and accessibility improvements at stations. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Being the project management lead for rail infrastructure projects, such as new station projects.
- Being responsible for delivering projects to time, cost, and quality, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders and team members to ensure success.
- Developing, managing, and influencing schedules and cost plans for your projects and programmes.
- Managing risks, assumptions, dependencies, issues, and opportunities across allocated projects.
- Managing change to project and programme requirements.
