HinckleyHouse school is a state of the art SEMH primary school recentlyopened in Autumn 24. As part of the Witherslack group the school isexceptionally well resourced and supported to ensure that everychild receives the very best education and outcomes. We are lookingfor inspirational teachers and wider staff to help us realise ourvision for deliveringexcellence.

Ourclinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND.Across all of our specialist schools and children's homes, weprovide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of ourexpertise and breadth of provision. Our young people presentwith a complexity of need including developmental trauma,neuro-developmental conditions and special educationalneeds.

As part of amulti-disciplinary clinical team you will be supporting educationaland residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living andlearning environments and, based on clinical assessment andformulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement toour young people.

Our SeniorPsychologists work collaboratively within our schools andchildren's homes, this ensures that therapeutic support permeatesevery aspect of the education, care and support we offer all of ourchildren and young people. You will provide consultation,workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residentialteams around ourchildren.

• Be a qualifiedClinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologistregistered with the HCPC

• Have experience ofsupporting the team around a child or young person to provideclinically informed living and learning environments andexperiences

• Be a confident,engaging and effective, model, guide, leader andtrainer

• Be highly organisedand ready to take theinitiative

• Be committed toensuring the best outcomes for young

• Be amember of a multi-disciplinary team, receiving regular supervisionand supported in yourCPD

• Havelengthy sector experience and a background in team supervision areallvital

• Bea car driver, as there's some travelinvolved
