Senior Security Consultant

HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, a leading pharmaceutical company, in their search for a highly skilled Senior IT Security Consultant specialized in Vulnerability Management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in configuring vulnerability management tools, working collaboratively with analysts, and driving security projects. The role offers the possibility to work fully remote, providing flexibility for the candidate. However, attendance at on-site meetings approximately once per month at the Anderlecht HQ is preferred.

Must haves:

• Minimum 5 years in managing and configuring Qualys.
• Experience in driving security initiatives like CIS benchmarks, firewall reviews, and secure configurations.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
• Familiarity with scripting, APIs, and automation tools.

Requirements that the ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of experience in vulnerability management, including penetration testing and remediation.
• Certifications such as Qualys, CISSP, CEH, or CISA (preferred).
• Familiarity with technologies including Azure, containers, and reporting tools like Power BI.
• Knowledge of CVE, CVSS, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch is a plus.

This is a long-term contract starting on April 1, 2025, and running until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.
