Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our utilities arm of Kier called Natural Resources, to work on our site for our client Severn Trent in Branton, South Yorkshire.

Location: Branton, South Yorkshire

Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

As a Senior Site Engineer you'll be responsible for the supervision of the workforce for the Barnton wastewater treatment works. Within the role you'll work on capital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites.

Your day to day will include:

  • Conducting ITPs and manage technical queries, as well as producing RAMS and assisting with short term work programmes.
  • Raising TQs on the proposed design and ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
  • Operating and promoting high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.
  • Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications, with input and awareness of construction programme and working alongside the project planner and Project Manager.
  • Procurement and planning of equipment and materials for site establishment and throughout delivery of the scheme.

This role of Senior Site Engineer is great for you if you have:

  • Civil Engineering HNC/Degree or equivalent with proven experience working within main contractor civil engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
  • Knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specific activities.
  • Hold a CSCS Card.
