Senior Site Manager

The UK North Build team are looking for a Senior Site Manager with Tier 1 experience and a minimum of 10 years in managing delivery on large projects across facades, internals, and finishes, with a track record of completing and handing over several projects. The candidate should be used to leading teams across multiple trades, managing subcontractors, and leading on packages, including review of design for buildability. Demonstrating programme management and short-term programme control to ensure the working programme is delivered is essential. Implementation of QA systems and accurate record keeping is required. A trades background is a benefit.
The ideal candidate would have experience with internal finishes on multi-occupancy residential or hotels.

Responsibilities- Plans and oversees the site setup, ensuring that the appropriate facilities are in place prior to the project launch.
- Manages the relationship with the subcontractors while working onsite.
- Takes ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are always adhered to on sites.
- Always maintains quality control procedures.
- Ensures that the TWR is in place and is up to date.
- Responsible for ensuring an efficient registration system is in place to monitor all individuals entering and leaving the site.
- Flags any issues with the Contract Management/Commercial Teams that could impact the effective delivery of the project - e.g., materials, works schedules, resources, H&S matters, or issues relating to cost or delivery schedule.
- Trade background desirable.
