Senior Software Engineer - Android+X (f/m/x)

Key Responsibilities

• Help build the leading platform to support oil and gas operators to fight greenhouse gas emissions.
• Own and drive product features from concept to deployment.
• While being the go-to Android expert in your team, you also work on other projects and environments.
• Work closely with the hardware and cloud platform teams.
• Keep a pulse on cutting-edge Android technologies and software engineering practices.
• Assist in roadmap planning, estimation, scheduling, and hiring.
• Report to and closely work with our CTO.

Skills & Experience You Will Need

• Minimum 5 years of in-depth software engineering experience.
• You are versatile in multiple programming languages and environments and are excited at the prospect of learning new ones.
• Strong Android native development skills using the latest tech stack (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, ).
• Experience shipping multiple mobile apps in a B2B environment.
• Exceptional communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills.
• Solid experience in at least one other environment is a plus.
• Strong sense of user experience.
• Solid understanding of different API formats and data storage technologies.
• Given only high-level requirements, able to plan and work autonomously while staying strongly aligned with your team.

Great to Have

• Experience working with IoT devices.
• Experience with native iOS development and cross-platform frameworks.
• Skills with DevOps & CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with serverless AWS technologies and IaC (Terraform).
• You have working knowledge using the Django ecosystem.
• Frontend skills using HTMX.
