Senior Software Engineer

We're working with a leading global financial SaaS company, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Antwerp.

You will play a key role in developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications. Working with modern technologies, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of the company's growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance modern frontend applications using React.
• Optimize performance for a large-scale financial SaaS platform.
• Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality through best practices and testing.
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with Next.js or Nest.js is a huge plus.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
• A passion for clean code, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and agile environment.
