The ideal candidate will have a background in selling, supporting or implementing financial-oriented technology solutions to mid-to-large sized companies. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with Finance, Accounts Payable and Travel professionals through individual conversations, group presentations and product demonstrations. Internal collaboration will be expected across the sales, implementation and product organizations.
This is a prospecting, client-facing pre-sales role!
Essential Functions
- Knowledgeable in specific Products / Solutions in the Emburse family
- Knowledgeable in a specific industry or vertical
- Adequately prepare to deliver solution demonstrations by understanding prospect requirements and aligning them with Emburse's best practices demonstration flow
- Deliver onsite and remote presentations and demonstrations of Emburse products
- Provide technical understanding of our product with the ability to discuss product architecture, security and integration
- Assist in creating materials for training and adoption of features and functions
- Support RFPs, Security Questionnaires, Trial set-up
- Work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment to achieve business goals
- Accomplish targeted performance objectives with a positive attitude
- Supporting Enterprise sales in primarily one region
- Available for extensive travel, short trips usually two to three days duration, after travel restrictions end
- Assist at trade shows, user conferences, and sales meetings as required
- Preferred: BA/BS degree preferred, experience may substitute
- Proficient in software demonstration techniques and tools, such as Demo2Win and storytelling, to effectively communicate and demonstrate the Emburse product value to prospects
- Strong command of advanced selling methodologies, including MEDDPICC, Gap Selling, Demo2Win, and Selling Based on Business Value
- Preferred - business level German would be considered hugely beneficial but not essential
- Preferred - 3-5 years experience in selling, supporting or implementing SaaS solutions
- Preferred - Previous experience in a Solutions Consulting role
- Preferred - Previous experience with A/P automation
- Strong presentation skills, both online and in-person
- Ability to articulate financial business solutions
- Technical acumen and the ability to lead technical discussions
- Available for 30% travel with week-long duration as necessary
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work across functional teams
- Ability to autonomously work from home
