Purpose:
The role of Outbound Sales, Senior Specialist will be to generate new leads and customers by means of outbound sales activities. Principle areas to develop new contacts are across Commercial, Government, Academic and Channel Partners. Channel Partnerships include Training Providers and Solution Resellers in the UK & Europe. The position is ideal for someone that is highly motivated and driven, who views this as an opportunity to start a sales career. The successful candidate may have some experience in positioning learning content related technology solutions and dealing with funding and education frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the business needs and focus outbound sales call out campaigns in strategic verticals, following up on all lead activity.
- Targets will be mutually agreed and will focus on areas such as the number of outbound contacts made; number of appointments scheduled and successful outcomes from those appointments. We would expect that you meet or exceed targets set.
- Quickly familiarize yourself with CompTIA's Learning and Labs content, Price Book, Custom training offerings and Customer Success team.
- Schedule new opportunities for UK & Ireland & Central/Eastern Europe BDM.
- Schedule new customer demonstrations with Customer Success team.
- Collaborate with various functions at HQ to ensure optimum success, i.e. marketing, Training strategies group, operations, product management and certification business development sales team.
- Represent CompTIA at any relevant industry events in a professional manner with the highest of ethical standards.
- Update and maintain CompTIA's CRM system to reflect activities, account data and sales pipeline.
Qualifications:
- You're not afraid of initiating a sales conversation.
- You continually improve and evaluate your approach and process.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- You're a go getter, you see the bigger picture, and you're not afraid of failure.
- You have professional etiquette skills, both phone and email; you always follow up and are highly organized and professional with attention to detail.
- Experienced level of proficiency in Microsoft office products as well as CRM tools.
- 0-2 Years experience in a customer service role.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in the English language.
- Proficiency in other European languages an asset but not essential.
