Job Title: Senior Strategy & Operations Manager - Channels & Strategic Projects

About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager to lead our Channels team and drive strategic projects across the business. This role is crucial for expanding Houst's presence across booking platforms, conducting strategic pricing experiments, and implementing innovative revenue optimisation strategies. You'll manage a team responsible for day-to-day channel operations, tackle complex integration challenges, and collaborate with diverse functions to deliver growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Channel Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to grow our presence across different booking platforms. Oversee onboarding, API integrations, and mapping to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Drive Revenue Optimization: Conduct pricing experiments and implement strategies to maximise revenue per night across channels, balancing occupancy with profitability.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track and analyse growth and experience metrics for each channel, deep-diving into causes of underperformance and devising effective countermeasures.
  • Scrutinising Existing Processes: Understanding the team's daily tasks, identifying possible limitations and refining to enhance team output and meet quarterly OKRs.
  • Team leadership & Day-to-Day Operations: Lead a team managing inquiries, bookings, and client communications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency through mentorship and performance feedback.
  • Strategic Project Management: Oversee high-impact projects aimed at operational efficiency, revenue growth, and client value, managing project timelines and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use advanced data modelling and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL) to conduct in-depth analyses, generate actionable insights, and drive strategic recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Operations, Guest Experience, and Marketing teams to align on channel strategies, ensuring cohesive execution across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in strategy, operations, or a similar role in a high-growth or technology-driven environment. Channels experience not necessary.
  • Experience in marketplaces, property management, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing complex projects and collaborating across teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.

    Salary Banding: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
