Service Desk Analyst
6 Month Contract
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
Rate: £18.64 per hour (Inside IR35)

We are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a leading public sector organisation. This is an on site role working 5 days a week at my client's office in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

You will join a team dedicated to providing crucial support to public sector organisations in North Yorkshire. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of Service Desk Analysts to ensure an efficient and effective service, helping to maintain and enhance front-line services that protect the public and assist front-line workers in performing their critical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for a wide range of ICT applications, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk team to manage incidents and fulfil requests, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
  • Act as a specialist in resolving complex technical issues, offering expertise to ensure smooth operations across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the wider ICT department by identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Take ownership of problems, driving them through to resolution to minimise disruption to front-line services.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in providing application support and resolving technical issues related to ICT systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in incident management and request fulfilment, with a focus on customer service.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving, with the ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to completion.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is desirable but not essential.
