Service Manager

They manage a variety of services, from maintaining military infrastructure to overseeing family accommodations and supporting scientific research facilities. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance and response works comply with statutory and MoD requirements, Health and Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Supervise Supply Chain teams, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications, equipment, and skills.
  • Monitor service delivery for quality, value for money, and safety, ensuring performance indicators are met.
  • Review and coordinate Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Record and manage tasks in the CAFM system, ensuring timely documentation.
  • Review site risk registers, follow maintenance processes, and report equipment defects.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Service Publications, working with the Mobile Authorised Persons team.
  • Manage Asbestos and Legionella responsibilities, including compliance with respective management plans.
  • Oversee full project management for M&E/B&CE tasks, including financial and commercial aspects.
