Civils Supervisor Required for NI Water Framework

Hays are delighted to have been retained by our client, a specialist Civil Engineering and Piling Contractor who operate throughout the UK and Ireland. With a fantastic annual turnover and growth projected for 2024 our client has a temporary requirement for a suitably qualified Civils Supervisor to join their team. This contractor specialises in heavy civils projects for residential, commercial, and public authorities with values ranging from up to £20M. This position is exclusively based in Northern Ireland within the Northern Ireland water framework.

Your new role
This prominent contractor is imminently embarking on a 6-month project on one of Belfast's main corridors, carrying out essential sewer repairs on the NI Water framework. The suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and will have a proven track record of maintaining positive working relationships with all professionals on site. Due to the nature of work undertaken, applicants with previous experience on water-related projects will be looked upon favourably. However, please note that applicants with impressive experience in other areas within Civil Engineering should still apply.

What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Civils Supervisor, previous experience managing Civils projects as Site No.1 is essential, with demonstrable knowledge of heavy civils, preferably within water or sewerage schemes desired. Previous experience in other heavy civils disciplines would be considered. You will have a proven track record of overseeing busy streetworks schemes and liaising with key clients. As this is an imminent requirement, you will be finishing up a current project or available imminently for short-term cover. You must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS Certification.
