Skilled Arable Operator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our farming team.

The full-time position, based in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, requires a dynamic and reliable person, with arable farming experience.

We are a large arable farming family, with many diversifications, so the successful candidate must be willing to take on a wide variety of jobs.

Required:

• Operating modern Tractors, CAT, Fent, Crawler and equipment

• Knowledge and understanding of working a range of soil types and conditions

• An understanding of land-based Health & Safety practices

• Knowledge of using farming software (Gatekeeper), for workplans and field records

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have good communication skills and a proactive attitude

• Have a strong team ethic and character to work seamlessly with all our staff

• PA1/PA2 Qualifications desired, but training can be provided for the right candidate

• Rough Terrain Telescopic Certificate would be preferred, but training can be given

• Willing to do overtime as and when required and progress your agricultural knowledge

Should earn £38k plus 3 Bedroom house worth £20 with central heating, within walking distance of work.
