We are an independent small animal practice located near Hampstead Heath in North West London. Our Facilities
Our practice is equipped to provide high-quality care, with:
- Dedicated dental suite with digital CR dental radiography
- Full in-house IDEXX laboratory
- Advanced imaging, including ultrasound and endoscopy
- Multi-parameter monitoring equipment
- Separate cat and dog consulting rooms, reception areas, and wards
- A quiet, private space for end-of-life care discussions
- Four consulting rooms and a fully equipped theatre suite
What We Offer
- Longer consult times to ensure thorough care and excellent client communication
- A schedule that supports a balance of consultations, surgeries, and follow-up discussions
- Visiting specialists in cardiology, imaging, and advanced surgery to complement our in-house services
Your Role
You'll bring your clinical skills and compassionate approach to help us continue providing exceptional care. As part of our team, you'll:
- Manage a variety of small animal cases, with a focus on dentistry (experience or interest preferred)
- Lead and support colleagues in clinical and non-clinical settings
- Confidently handle routine surgery, medicine, and occasional emergency work
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high standards of veterinary care
Working Hours
- 4 days per week with a 1:3 Saturday rota (day off in lieu)
- No out-of-hours work
- Scheduled morning and afternoon ward rounds (30 minutes)
What We're Looking For
- A confident Veterinary Surgeon with UK small animal practice experience.
- Strong surgical and medical skills, with a passion for client communication and education
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to support and lead colleagues
