Snr Liferay Developer - REMOTE - UN-agency-client - EN-speaking (80 w/day initial)

We are looking for one "remote Snr Liferay developer" to start from ASAP an initial contract about 28-DAYS (extensions likely) for an international Org' -client in ROME, where 100% REMOTE work is possible. Possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability. English speaking environment.

TASKS

• You will be responsible for the maintenance of multiple Liferay portals.
• Content and display fixes and enhancements;
• Accessibility and compliance improvements;
• Features and Functionality Adjustments;
• Archiving and Scheduling Improvements;
• Analytics and Synchronization fixes;
• Develop any other CMS customizations as per agreed business analyses requirements;
• Any other duties as required;

SKILLS

• The consultant must have minimum 7 years of Java enterprise development experience, along with 5 years of experience using Liferay Portal modules, including Social office.
• Experience with participating in open source projects and publishing of technology articles or ownership of a technology blog is highly desirable.
• A university degree in Software Development or related fields is desired;
• At least 5 years of Liferay development experience;
• At least 7 years of Java development experience;
• Java and Liferay Certification would be advantageous;
• Proficiency with information architecture, knowledge management and metadata is required;
• Demonstrable experience of development, deployment and administration of applications built with Liferay 7.x for at least 3 years;
• An experience with Liferay DXP 7.4 would be an advantage;

Qualification and experience

• A university degree in Software Development or related fields is desired;
• At least 5 years of Liferay development experience;
  • At least 7 years of Java development experience;
  • Java and Liferay Certification would be advantageous;
  • Proficiency with information architecture, knowledge management and metadata is required;
  • Experience of development, deployment and administration of applications built with Liferay DXP 7.4 for at least 1 year would be an advantage;
  • Demonstrable experience of development, deployment and administration of applications built with Liferay DXP 7.x for at least 3 years;

• Knowledge about the new features: Collections, Objects, Headless API, Client Extensions, Blueprints

• OSGi as used in Liferay 7.4
• Building with Maven and Gradle
• Unit testing with Junit, Mockito, AssertJ

• Groovy
• Modern Web development (HTML/CSS/SCSS, ES2017, Bootstrap)
• React and modern JS development stack (node, yarn, npm)
• REST web services, integration patterns
