As the Social Work Apprentice Development Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of social work apprentices. You'll be responsible for developing and coordinating apprentice placements, guiding their growth over 12 months. This includes reviewing portfolios and observing their practice to ensure they meet the highest standards of professional development.

Your primary goal will be to empower apprentices to reach their full potential while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Your responsibilities include supervising, promoting development and modelling best practices to cultivate a high-performance culture.

We are looking for a strong role model who sets high standards for themselves and others. Your ability to demonstrate and promote excellent practice will inspire those around you.

To be considered, you must be a registered social worker with Social Work England, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in coaching, mentoring or supervising students or fellow social workers is essential.
