Software Developer £35,000 to £40,000

I am working with a renowned software house in the heart of Exeter and am looking for a passionate Software Developer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Leverage a modern front-end framework like React or Vue.js (proficiency in both is a plus!)
• Collaborate closely with designers, other developers, and product managers to translate vision into reality
• Implement industry best practices in accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
• Own code quality and actively participate in code reviews and refactoring processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with a JavaScript framework.
• Proven expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (including frameworks), and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with JSON and RESTful APIs
• A keen eye for design and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
