Software Development Intern (m/f/d)

Cycle is a young high-tech company that manufactures world-leading precision timing and synchronization systems based on ultrashort pulse lasers. For customers in science and industry, we manufacture unique products that enable new applications in precision metrology, optical and wireless communication, and life sciences.

To strengthen our international team (currently 29 people and 1 dog), we are looking for a talented and passionate:

Software Development Intern (m/f/d) Your Tasks

• Develop a user interface for our timing product using C++
• Develop a hardware driver for the aforementioned product
• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts for the interface software
• Write detailed code documentation to ensure code readability and reusability

Your Profile:

• Education and experience
  • Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in C++ and object oriented programming
  • Strong knowledge of driver development for Windows
  • Good knowledge of Javascript
  • Fluent in written and spoken English or German
  • Good German language skills are a plus
• Nice to have:
  • Knowledge and experience in measurement applications
  • Basic knowledge of phase/frequency stability measurement, Allan deviation
• Conceptual skills
  • Can work independently and organize her-/himself
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of multi-disciplinary tasks
  • Team spirit and good communication skills
