Job Description

Do you want to be part of our success story in the Development Center Dresden and actively shape Infineon's analog design verifications with a special focus on customized software solutions at the central design flow department?
In your new role you will:
  • Develop methods to improve the effectiveness and quality of IC product development and verification on a tool basis (Spice simulation, reliability, optimization, regression) in alignment with the team
  • Coordinate closely with internal customers (development departments) and EDA vendors regarding requirements and implement them within a project
  • Evaluate and improve tools and methodology based on the defined requirements, with a focus on implementing extensions in existing software solutions for the automation of analog/mixed-signal verification
  • Pro-actively suggest improvements and coordinate the details with the users
  • Integrate the adapted or new tools and methodology into existing design flows
  • Write necessary specifications and documentation throughout the project
  • Perform trainings for users
Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering or similar) and 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented software development (e.g. Python, C++) and scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, Cadence SKILL, Bash) on Unix/Linux and Windows and modern development methodology
  • Agile software development methods (e.g. SCRUM) is a plus
  • Knowledge of graphical user interface (GUI) development frameworks such as Qt5/Qt6 and testing frameworks (e.g. pytest)
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of EDA tools and simulation of analog/mixed-signal circuits (Cadence Virtuoso/ADE, SPICE/mixed-signal simulators)
  • Fluent English skills as well as presentation and negotiation skills, German is a plus
