Position: Solution Architect - Active Directory
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract Type: Permanent/Hybrid
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Active Directory (AD) design to lead the redesign and upgrade of our current Active Directory infrastructure. This is a pivotal role requiring a deep understanding of AD systems and processes, along with the ability to work collaboratively across enterprise teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the redesign and upgrade of the current Active Directory infrastructure to meet enterprise standards.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide Active Directory solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough hands-on testing of Active Directory implementations and upgrades.
- Develop test plans, methodologies, and processes to ensure seamless deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, design patterns, and optimization strategies for Active Directory.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive expertise in Active Directory design, including redesigning and upgrading complex infrastructures.
- Senior-level Active Directory experience, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide solutions.
- Strong hands-on testing experience, with knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Customer-facing experience, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid Active Directory environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Relevant certifications (eg, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, MCSE, or similar).
