Job Description
It's an exciting time to join the team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes and as part of this, we're looking for a talented individual to join our eRate team!

Reporting into the Solution Lead, you'll be responsible for the build, test and delivery of rating models using the in-house eRate software as well as other tools and programs. You'll work closely with the wider business to implement solutions.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two or three days of your week away from home, either at your base office location or occasionally visiting one of our other UK office locations. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Training:

Experience in this role is not required and full training will be given when you start with us.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the delivery of eRate change, assisting in deployment and testing in environments
Identifying potential improvements to eRate and any rating tools, articulating ideas clearly
Contributing to regular retrospectives of the delivery of eRate change
Ensuring the quality of eRate solutions by rigorous testing and reviewing
Supporting the design and delivery of efficient solutions that are aligned to business requirements and eRate principles
Overseeing that any change or solution meets regulatory guidance
Building close relationships with team members and if appropriate, stakeholders to obtain feedback and understand priorities

What you'll bring:

Intermediate or higher Excel skills
Strong mathematical background e.g. A Level or Degree level
Ability to coordinate solutions to complex technical problems
Willingness to learn new systems and processes, such as DevOps and SQL
Capability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
Ability to communicate complex and technical ideas clearly
Prior knowledge of the insurance industry is an advantage

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
