Location: Oakfield House School - North West

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8.30am -4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only, 41 weeks (There may be scopefor this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is yourpreference, please get in touch to discuss.)

Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE

Essential: Full UKDriving Licence and access to own vehiclerequired

About therole

We currently have an opportunityfor a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our ClinicalWellbeing team. The post holder will work collaboratively todeliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils.This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as they expandtheir clinical provision, making a real difference and implementinga holistic, therapeutic approach.

You will beresponsible for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseloadalongside other SALTs at Oakfield House School based in theNorth West. With the full support of our well-established andknowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to stafftraining, consultation and reflective practice. Both a challengingand rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient andenthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and theability to make decisions, as well as manage their ownworkload.

EssentialCriteria:

  • Speechand Language Therapy degree

  • Registered with HCPC andRCSLT.

  • Minimum of 3 years'experience working in SEN education, or with a similar caseload, asa Speech and Language Therapist.

  • Experience of managing a complexcaseload.

  • Clear and concisereport writing relating to clinical and researchactivities

  • Hold a full UKdriving license, with access to a car

  • Ability to work independently as agreed undersupervision

  • Experience ofmulti-professional work teams or services within designatedspecialty
