Role Details

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join the team!

This role will require providing highly specialist clinical input to patients with disorders of communication and swallowing in the community. To be a team member based at Breightmet Health Centre providing highly specialist service to adults with acquired speech and language difficulties and dysphagia (swallowing problems) following a stroke and long covid. This role also involves assessing and diagnosing patients, using a range of assessments.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold a degree or equivalent certificate to practice (SLT)

Be HCPC registered

Have previous NHS experience

Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team

Experience in a leadership role

Pay: £25.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • HCPC (preferred)
