The Challenge + Position

As the tool-owner, your role will involve aligning and building customer-order specific transmission electron microscopes to meet their requirements. You will handle module integration on the tool level and address any problems on the module or system level, collaborating with partners in operations engineering or R&D. We encourage applications from experienced professionals and recent graduates eager to embark on their career journey. A passion for technical challenges and an affinity for working in a cleanroom environment are essential. Please note that our TEM microscopes require 9-12 months for construction, alignment, and testing before they can be shipped.

Specific responsibilities are:

• Integration of modules and testing of complete microscope
• Performs activities based on procedures.
• Tests parts of systems, or systems with typical test times
• Delivery on time of modules or microscopes with the right quality
• Working on improvements of products and related processes
• Independent tracing, analysis to tackle problems

The Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• Middle technical education (MBO) with at least 2 years of working experience or a bachelor's degree (HBO) graduate in any technical domain, such as mechanics, mechatronics, systems & control, electronics, or applied physics.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electronics engineering
• Able to do analyses and interpretations of physics, mechanics and software technical data
• Preferably experience with and control of a high-tech system or shown interest via education and hobbies in technical challenges.
• Good presenting skills (in writing and verbal) both in Dutch and English
