- We're offering this role for a period of 12 months.
As a Strategy Manager within Group Strategy, you'll steer our purpose-driven strategy towards further growth and long-term sustainable value for our customers, shareholders and the wider UK economy.

You'll make an impact by:
- Providing thought leadership and interpretive thinking to define, shape and progress business critical issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Creating comprehensive business plans and financial projections for new and continuing products and services.
- Providing in-depth analysis on a range of strategic themes including businesses performance, competitor activity, potential business opportunities and customer behaviours to drive innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Playing a leading role in identifying and managing the Group's top strategic issues and agenda.
- Establishing key strategic messages to be communicated to clients, the media and investors.
- Managing the strategy cycle collaborating with the Board, ManCo and ExCo, aligning strategic delivery across the bank's franchises and functions.
You'll bring a broad mix of skills, but it's your passion and experience that will set you apart.
You'll need:
- Experience of leading and delivering multiple projects across a large, diverse organisation, ranging from product development to fundamental change.
- A thorough knowledge of financial services, our bank, its customers, products and services.
- A strong understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements, risk management, control framework and governance processes with experience in responding to regulator reviews.
- The ability to address the most complex strategic problems, building mandates for change and leading teams to accelerate progress and delivery.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to simplify complex and conflicting tasks and policy positions, ensuring that these are effectively managed and communicated.
And you'll bring this all together with your:
- Leadership and people management skills.

- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
