About the company

Established in 2005, remote control productions (rcp) is an independent Munich production house for interactive entertainment. Covering everything from HR, finance and legal support, business development, business intelligence, and (creative) production, rcp enables studios to get on with what they do best: creating great games.
Our purpose is to empower, support, and emancipate game makers to create sustainably.
rcp is also the 'mothership' for a family of studios in countries worldwide. This group of studios is a diverse team of over 500 individuals working across Europe and Asia.
The rcp family has worked on more than 400 projects, including Songs of Silence, the Bus Simulator series, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Evolution, Windstorm, Sacred Legends, Shadow and Bone, and The Ascent. Our interactive experiences include an internal VR project for BMW, a long-running platform for Teva, and a training game for the Bundeswehr.
We are also proudly engaged in the wider industry ecosystem, working in politics, education, awareness, representation, culture, and social issues.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious team player, who would be part of a Partner Guild and is motivated to see projects through and help teams grow and level up.

Your role:

In the primary role as a Junior/Regular Studio Partner (f/m/d), you will act as the SPOC for the development studios within our rcp family. Your role is a perfect mix of being a project manager/producer, advisor and team developer - implementing our best practice to the growing teams of the rcp group.

The kind of stuff you'll be doing:
  • Support our teams in developing and pursuing a strategic company vision
  • Communication with clients & sponsors, partners, and other departments
  • Ensure smooth workflows within the team and represent us as shareholders
  • Identify and enact cross-team synergies to aid quality and productivity
  • Consult on product and project management and ensure best practices for success
  • Working with teams and projects of different sizes & budgets, genres & platforms
Your profile:
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in Consulting, Project Management in games or related industries
  • High ambition and drive to work as an entrepreneur within the company
  • Identification and management of potential risks and challenges
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
The ideal candidate also has:
  • First experience of leadership and mentoring individuals and/or teams
  • In-depth knowledge of project management, its tools, and agile methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience as a games publisher and/or general understanding of game development throughout the whole cycle
  • Readiness to travel
  • Experience with Holacracy, Radical Candor, Output management principles
  • Ability and drive for learning and mentoring
  • Good skills with Excel, Google Sheets and similar office tools
