Location: Luton, LU1
Salary: £55.00 PAYE or £71.65 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week

Are you an experienced Senior Sub Contract Manager ready to lead strategic procurement within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation?

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sub-contract management activities within Production & Development IPTs, delivering procurement services as required.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with Leonardo's suppliers, holding Supplier Business Reviews and managing performance, risks, and impacts.
• Oversee governance in business winning and programme delivery with minimal supervision.
• Negotiate complex agreements, balancing risk/reward mechanisms for business case models.
• Translate project requirements into commercial documents, particularly for bespoke complex electronic systems and sub-systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree-level education or significant experience in a relevant field (MCIPS qualification preferred).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Procurement within the Defence/Aerospace industry (or similar sectors).
• Solid understanding of Commercial and Legal aspects of contracting in defence/aerospace.
• Ability to innovate and think outside the box to drive value and improvements.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and influence across teams.
• Familiarity with Export Compliance and IPR regulations in the Defence/Aerospace sector is a plus.
