This role is uniquely positioned to lead and craft the future of our Restriction Enzymes Production Group, making a significant impact on our innovative biotechnology solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities to ensure the seamless and flawless operation of our production processes:
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate actions necessary to achieve the goals of the Restriction Enzymes Production Group.
Plan, coordinate, and control the production and quality control processes of enzymes, including extraction from biomass, chromatographic purification, formulation, and quality testing.
Assign functions and tasks to group employees, set individual goals, and monitor their implementation to ensure high performance and accountability.
Ensure the resources required for the group's activities and their efficient use.
Ensure and be accountable for the accurate preparation and timely completion of the department's documentation.
Participate in and lead projects related to their activities, as needed, to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Strengthen personal skills by setting and achieving annual development goals, promoting a culture of lifelong learning.
Develop employees by aligning the group's goals with their individual development goals, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team environment.
Keys to Success:
EducationHigher university degree in biotechnology/biochemistry/bioengineering or related sciences.
At least 2 years of experience in the biotechnology field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in biotechnology or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on setting and achieving ambitious goals.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Outstanding attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to strictly adhere to safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and collaborators.
A proactive and determined approach to successfully implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
Proficiency in Lithuanian and English languages.
