Supply Chain Manager - Blackpool - Up to £35,000About the Company Our client is a leader in their field who is looking for a passionate and driven Supply Chain professional who is looking to challenge themselves in a growing sustainability focused organisation.As Supply Chain Manager you will lead the development of Supply Chain policies and ways of working in a medium to large multi-site business unit to achieve target service levels at optimum cost. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the in house supply chain to ensure production needs are met in line with site/cluster sales activity.Supply Chain Manager - The Rewards

Supply Chain Manager - Requirements

• Ideally, 5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of the supply chain process
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven record of managing and leading a team
• Drive efficient and effective scheduling of machine capacity and distribution networks to ensure reliable sales and customer service levels are met
• Have a passion for continuous improvement, continually looking to set and drive targets

Supply Chain Manager - Responsibilities

• Support the development of the Sales and Operations planning framework across the functions
• Develop supply chain contingency plans and implement supply chain risk management programs.
• Negotiate with suppliers and develop relationships
• Collaborating and supporting existing suppliers to ensure compliance and ethical practices
• Forecasting and inventory planning
