Aufgaben
As a Support Associate, you will work in a technically challenging and rewarding environment, supporting our customers across a variety of mediums.
What you'll do
SAP HANA (High-performance Analytic Appliance) is a multi-model database that stores data in its memory instead of keeping it on a disk. The column-oriented in-memory database design allows you to run advanced analytics alongside high-speed transactions - all in a single system. You will:
- Provide professional and courteous technical support (via multiple channels) for SAP HANA Database
- Analyze the incident, research solutions and provide solid answers
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide the best available solution or workaround within the agreed service levels
- Document technical solutions via the SAP Knowledge Management Strategy
- Collaborate with fellow support colleagues both locally and globally and other internal organizations to provide superior customer service
- Engage with and help drive customer support initiatives
Profil
This role would suit candidates with a diverse and varied skillset. A successful candidate will have evidenced strong customer service skills, a technical mindset, and an ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. The role will require flexibility to adapt to tasks, processes, and requirements that reflect the global nature of the Technical Support organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a business-related field
- Fluency in German and English to a business standard
- Solid understanding of database technologies
- Analytical outlook with good aptitude for problem-solving
- Teamwork mindset
Preferred (but not explicitly required):
- Knowledge of any one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, ABAP/4 etc)
- Experience in Database Knowledge, SQL Proficiency, Data Modeling, a basic understanding of cloud services and Technical Support
