Job Description
Nexeo is currently looking for a Workplace Support Technician for a leading company in Belgium.

As a Workplace Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support: Provide 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely resolution of IT service requests.
- Incident Management: Identify, track, and resolve hardware and software incidents that affect end-users.
- User Assistance: Offer broad support on IT tools, including workstations, tablets, and smartphones.
- Asset Management: Ensure proper workstation asset management and maintain inventory records.
- Configuration & Setup: Master, set up, and configure workstations to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Prepare accurate and timely support documentation.
- Project Involvement: Actively contribute to workplace-related projects and assist in implementing new solutions.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external suppliers to ensure delivery aligns with agreed standards and timescales.
- Process Improvement: Advise on workplace and mobile architecture, driving innovation and improvement initiatives.
What are we expecting?
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT support or similar roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT technology trends, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Service-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, ability to perform under pressure, and a team player.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and capable of taking initiative.
