System Administrator GERMAN, Switzerland

We have a current opportunity for a System Administrator on a permanent basis in Switzerland. The position will be based in Aargau, German speaking.

As System Administrator your primary role is to operate and maintain systems and infrastructure, focusing on Linux/Unix. Hybrid remote work available.

Key responsabilities are:

• Monitor and manage devices, applications, consoles, and subsystems in daily operations.
• Handle incidents as 1st-level support, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Analyze system messages and monitoring alerts, initiating preventive measures to avoid disruptions.
• Advise and support system users regarding ICT services.
• Assist in maintenance tasks (2nd-level support) and automate operational processes.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Provide backup support to on-call Engineers on Duty.

Your profile:

• Degree in IT (HF/FH) or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Strong expertise in Linux systems, with RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) certification as a plus.
• Knowledge of VMware technology.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a significant advantage.
• Enthusiasm for operating systems and infrastructure management.
• Fluent/Native in German and intermediate/fluent in English.
• Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) as an Application Manager is a bonus.
