Your new company

Your new role
You will be expected to support your departmental team with the following duties:
- Recruitment and Admissions: Manage publicity, handle enquiries, process applications, and coordinate interviews and open days.
- MRes and PhD Support: Coordinate training, administer courses, manage coursework and records, and support examination processes.
- Support to CDT Directors: Manage meetings, handle queries, and maintain statistics for reports.
- Financial Administration: Monitor budgets, administer accounts, and provide financial data for reports and funding applications.
- Project Coordination: Arrange and support meetings, issue agendas and minutes, and participate in reviews.
- Notes: Be able to take efficient notes/minutes during meetings
- Other duties: Perform reception duties and liaise with external partners.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within an academic or research environment.
- Proficiency in using administrative and financial software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
