Technical Architect - Enterprise Voice

12-month contract

2 days a week in the London office

SC Cleared role: SC clearance required

Up to £750 daily inside IR35

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with project and portfolio teams to progress procurement and technical workstreams.
2. Oversee the technical input into service designs, technical designs, and commercial outputs.
3. Elicit and maintain technical and business requirements.
4. Manage partners to provide necessary workstream outputs.
5. Help manage dependencies, risks, and requirements between stakeholders.
6. Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to progress project outcomes.
7. Review technical designs and vendor proposals.
8. Lead, conduct, or contribute to technical governance activities.
9. Maintain and contribute to base technology artefacts for the portfolio.
10. Ensure ongoing and appropriate reporting on the progress of work.
11. Manage risks and prioritise workload to align with project goals.
12. Work closely with senior business and technology leaders to deliver agreed vision.
13. Contribute to sourcing considerations, including procurement and integrations.
14. Collaborate and manage 3rd party delivery partners.

Skills:

1. Strong technical background with practical experience in platform, application, service management, and integration.
2. Fluent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technology concepts effectively.
3. Proactive approach to identify areas for improvement in design and processes.
4. Strong service management skills with a holistic understanding of end-to-end technology estate management.
5. Team player with the ability to build trust and serve as a go-to person within their domain.
6. Proficient in documentation creation and management using tools like Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
7. Experience with agile and waterfall deployment methodologies.
8. Familiarity with enterprise Service Now deployments and service management integration.
9. Proven history of architecture delivery and experience with multi-vendor support models.
10. Expertise in gathering and managing infrastructure and technology service requirements.
11. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highly available services.
12. Security-focused with experience operating in highly secure environments.
13. Data governance and policy enforcement experience.
