Salary: £30,000 + Benefits + 25 days holiday

Job Type: Full-time, Shift-based
Shift Pattern:
. 2 Days: 6am - 6pm
. 2 Nights: 6pm - 6am
. 4 Days Off

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Craigavon. This role is ideal for an IT Support Engineers or Fire and Security Engineers looking to transition from hands-on tools work to a support role. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
. Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire and security systems.
. Monitor system performance and escalate issues to second-line support when necessary.
. Assist with the setup and configuration of fire and security systems.
. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
. Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new technologies and systems.
. Provide remote technical support, programming, and diagnostics of CCTV, Intruder & Access Control Systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
. Proven experience as a 1st Line Support Engineer or Fire and Security Engineer.
. Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
. Willingness to work a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekends.
. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Requirements:
. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
. Basic understanding of fire and security systems is a plus, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
. Familiarity with CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control Systems, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
. Ability to pass a 5-year career background check.
. Clean criminal record.
