About the role:
The Tech Products Communications and Project Manager role is crucial in our D&T CGA team, as we work to amplify our Ahead Together Tech content and our culture. The successful candidate will help deploy our Tech Products communications successfully to the enterprise and support the team with milestones coordination, backed by strong communications using our Tech messaging platform and outcome-based, asset-level proof points.
Key to this role will be effective collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders and communications colleagues across D&T and GSK. The successful candidate will be agile and skilled at stakeholder management, strategic internal engagement, and programme management. You will own the planning of D&T product operations communications, which requires a combination of brilliant communications capabilities, business understanding, and seamless project management.
This role will work closely with the Head of Internal comms, CWs in the team, and broader CGA team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy our Tech Products communications successfully to the enterprise and support the team with milestones coordination.
- Report to the Head of Internal Communications, Digital and Tech, while working in close partnership with key Tech teams and the broader CGA team.
- Map Tech Products milestones and coordinate plans for effective enterprise communications.
- Create content - e.g., drafting accessible and inclusive messaging, facilitating stakeholder review/approval processes.
- Implement communications via global internal channels, managing broadcasts/events, monitoring engagement and uptake.
- Proactively look for new, innovative approaches to communications that drive effectiveness and impact.
- Manage the implementation and tracking of key projects to support business objectives.
- Coordinate core team activities including regular team meetings and project oversight.
- Support other projects as needed.
- Be a guardian of our Tech messaging, ensuring consistent delivery and evolving it as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of internal comms experience, with 2 years understanding key technical content or Tech projects.
- Experience in strategic planning and developing content across a range of platforms.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, story-telling skills, and cultural awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to synthesize complex information quickly into relatable messages.
- Attention to detail and grammar.
- Executive presence and ability to counsel senior leaders.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and handle sensitive situations.
