Are you an experienced Technology leader looking for a new opportunity? Do you have the enthusiasm, expertise and ambition to shape a key team within one of the UKs leading charities?

We are excited to have the opportunity for a Director: Technology to join the Royal British Legion in this newly created position.

The Director: Technology will be a strategic leader within the newly structured Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate and a member of the senior management team. In this role you will report directly to the newly appointed Executive Director: Digital Data and Technology, playing a crucial role in ensuring technology strategy, leadership, governance, operations, security and change delivery across projects and change workstreams.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Technology strategy that supports the charity's objectives
  • Lead the Technology function, including managing and developing the Heads of Technology, ensuring a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Confidently managing ambiguity and change whilst championing the adoption of emerging technologies to drive transformation and service improvement
  • Fostering key relationships with stakeholders, ensuring exceptional communication and engagement with executive level leaders, peers, Trustees and cross functional teams
  • Direct technology governance, risk, and compliance, alongside projects and workstreams within wider business programmes
  • Act as the senior technology representative and deputise for the Executive Director: DDaT as required

You will be contracted to our London Haig House Hub.
