About the role and practice

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Devon Dental Centre of Excellence practice, in Ashburton.

No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

Full-time (37 hours per week)
Typical shifts are Monday - Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm

Our aim is to create a caring, stress free and calm environment where our kind and courteous staff and highly knowledgeable team of professionals, can offer a solution to all of our patients dental needs no matter how complex they may be.

About you

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:

GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
