Job Description
The EU Relay Operations Team (EU ROC) is looking for an Transportation Operations Manager (Corporate) for its ROC as a Service team with a strong delivery record and operations experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional support to transportation operations in the fields of Humanitarian support, Disaster Relief and Lost Prevention. This role is the perfect hybrid between program and operations, the best of both worlds!
Key job responsibilities
- Own end to end programs implementation,
- Work closely with stakeholders to build and secure support and resources for programs,
- Establish operations metrics and communicate progress to leadership and other stakeholders through daily/weekly review meetings,
- Support on critical ad hoc process initiatives
- Ensure your team is engaged and motivated, with a culture of ownership and high performance,
- Uphold Amazon's high standards of process quality,
- Strive to improve and streamline processes, diving deep to find root causes quickly,
- Actively share and promote best practices with your colleagues and network,
- Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality,
- Think analytically about project management,

You will be the responsible and accountable leader for a team of managers and transport specialists that supports/executes different programs related to Humanitarian Support, Humanitarian Relief, Loss Prevention. These programs are fundamental for our customers, the impact Amazon has on the community; and to ensure continuous operations and on time delivery to our customers. You will own your team management and engagement as well as the relationship with your stakeholders. The role is based in BHX2, UK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in program or project management
- Experience in team management
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Relevant experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in cross functional project delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in supply chain
