Veterinary surgeon - Lancaster

Position Overview

As a veterinary surgeon, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, including family-run dairy, pedigree beef, sheep, smallholders, and sports and leisure equine. You will work closely with the Farm Animal and Equine Team, contributing to the practice's mission of delivering excellent patient care while fostering a supportive work environment for all staff members.

Responsibilities

• Provide Comprehensive veterinary care to farm animals and equine patients
• Conduct routine health checks, diagnoses, and treatments
• Perform surgical procedures and emergency care as needed
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate and advise clients on animal health, welfare, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records and stay updated with industry advancements

Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine, registered with the RCVS
