Role Objectives:
As the Vice President of Global Pricing and Market Access, you will be instrumental in building the Market Access division's expertise and innovative capabilities for the commercialization of unlicensed medicines in Cell and Gene Therapies, Oncology, and rare diseases for WEP Clinical clients. You will lead the division, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive success and growth in the global marketplace.

- Develop WEP Clinical's platform of capabilities and expertise to support new business development and attract clients, using unique strategies to transition assets from EAP and NPP to commercial access and reimbursement
- Foster a preferred partner environment, where clients trust WEP Clinical to transition their assets from early access programs to strategic market access programs that drive commercial success for licensed indications
- Collaborate with clients to advise, create, and develop market access strategies for target markets, offering expertise in asset profiling, competitor analysis, pricing scenarios, innovative value access agreements, and local market negotiations
- Drive global success for partners' products by providing strategic, technical knowledge and operational support across defined markets
- Advise leadership and senior staff within distribution and managed access departments on market access strategy
- Work cross-functionally with all relevant departments to implement client strategies, programs, and support requirements
- Identify, negotiate, appoint, and manage third-party contracts and vendors for Market Access programs, including local partners for pricing and reimbursement across Europe and global markets
- Guide clients in all aspects of marketing authorizations, early access schemes, competitor analysis, pricing and reimbursement strategies, value propositions, and innovative pricing strategies
- Prepare client program proposals, leveraging WEP and third-party resources to drive revenue, profitability, and overall value for WEP
- Manage budgeting for the Market Access division, forecasting income from client programs, linking to profitability and performance objectives, and recruiting resources as necessary to support growth
- Proven executive-level experience in establishing and scaling Post-Approval Business Services and Divisions such as Market Access, Health Economics, and Real-World Data (RWD), including developing foundational strategies, operational frameworks, and fostering cross-functional collaborations to ensure successful product access and reimbursement
- Bachelor's degree in a Scientific or Business discipline, and/or MSc in Health Economics or Health Policy
- Extensive experience in budget management, P&L oversight, forecasting, and overall business management
- Commercial expertise in Pharmaceuticals, particularly in specialized treatments for Oncology, Cell & Gene Therapies, and Rare Disease therapy areas
- Expertise in commercial contracting with clients, vendors, and third-party service providers
- In-depth experience in product lifecycle management, including new product introductions and commercialization strategies.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support business needs
- Strong, established network within European Reimbursement Agencies
- Demonstrated leadership in people management, talent development, and career progression
