Vice President Sales (Denim)

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

An exciting opportunity has come up to join a large conglomerate in Bangladesh as a Vice President of Sales. The fashion manufacturing arm of this group is well known for their denim manufacturing and providing denim garments globally. They are now looking for a Vice President of Sales due to a restructure, and they are looking to further develop and grow in the international denim market.

The role will see you:

1. Develop new direct relationships and sales with global denim brands in the EU and North America.
2. Work closely with designers to produce commercial, on-trend designs.
3. Ensure the team in Bangladesh is working in a timely manner to meet order deadlines as well as quality.
4. Look at strategy and work with the leadership team to identify opportunities in the retail market.

To be successful in this role:

1. You will have previous denim sourcing/buying/sales experience within a leadership position.
2. You will have previous sourcing/buying experience with a major global retailer.
3. You will have extensive market knowledge and existing relationships with retailers and major brands in Europe and North America and be able to hit the ground running.
4. You will be commercial and an excellent communicator, able to forge strong relationships internally and externally.
5. You will have strong negotiation, strategic planning, and creative thinking skills.
6. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business is preferable.

This role can be remote with extensive travel to Bangladesh to work with the teams and be close to projects. There is a competitive salary on offer for this leadership role.
