Job Description

Endeavour Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a WebLogic Administrator Engineer to join our client based in Luxembourg. In this role, you will maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and security. Ideally we are looking for someone to work on-site in Luxembourg but remote may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
WebLogic Domain Monitoring: Monitor the health status of WebLogic domains to ensure optimal performance.
System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot WebLogic-related systems via ticketing systems.
Documentation: Maintain and update internal procedures and documentation for efficient processes.
Reporting: Regularly report status and issues to the Team Lead and/or management.
Automation: Write and maintain custom scripts or identify tasks for automation to reduce human intervention.
Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, trainings related to the European Commission environment, and liaise with other technical teams to resolve issues.
Support & Rotation: Participate in shift rotations and on-call schedules, providing customer support for applications on WebLogic Servers (versions 12 and 14).

Requirements
Educational Background: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.

Technical Expertise:

  • Solid experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Proven experience with administration and performance tuning of WebLogic application stacks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, particularly Dynatrace.
  • Basic Scripting skills in Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • Fundamental understanding of Oracle Database and SQL.
  • Basic Cloud experience (preferably AWS) and Kubernetes cluster knowledge.
  • Knowledge in ITIL is preferred.
