The Global Rewards & Performance team at CHC is a group of motivated, energetic, and collaborative seasoned compensation and benefits professionals, organized in regional and subject matter expertise sub-teams, with the common objective to improve business' ability to attract, retain and motivate top talent by developing and operating compensation and benefits policies and practices.

This position plays a key role within the Europe Region by analyzing the company's compensation & benefits policies and practices versus external markets, providing recommendations for making internal policies fit for current business goals, and ensuring comprehensive understanding and adoption of these policies by business leaders, People & Culture colleagues, and employees. It is a key role responsible for the management of the Reward function for the CHC business in Germany & WEU (Austria, UK, Belgium & Switzerland) for Commercial, Scientific, Manufacturing & Supply and Support Functions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the CHC Compensation strategy under the framework of CHC global compensation strategy for Germany & WEU as well define and ensure good understanding of CHC policies & practices across Germany & WEU.
  • Work with business leaders and HRBPs to anticipate their needs and address complex topics that are escalated.
  • Be a key stakeholder and subject matter expert on reward related topics for the zone. Support HRBPs on daily topics (job evaluation, collective bonus calculation, bonus calculation for departures, benefits, compensation letters).
  • Lead C&B regional network agenda, including process and initiatives in order to ensure that our employees are fairly rewarded.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable country and company policies and procedures. Furthermore, monitor the competitive Fast-Moving Consumer Healthcare marketplace to benchmark externally.
  • Partner with HRBP and Finance teams to provide relevant data/personal cost as per grading in order to ensure proper financial forecast/cost planning.
  • Partner with Europe commercial excellence team to ensure consistency of sales incentives practices and schemes across Germany & WEU while fitting with overall CHC Rewards strategy.
  • Manage various Rewards projects both at country and zone level.
  • Coordinate the preparation and implementation of communication and educational programs and materials related to benefits.
  • Ensure effective market pricing structure is in place for all jobs across the zone.
  • Build analyses related to reward: bonus agreements, gender pay, compensation review outcomes, etc.
  • Participate and analyze external market salary/benefit surveys and participate in the development of new or revised benefits policy recommendations.
  • Organize benefit policy implementation and be the SPOC for all benefit queries.
  • Lead annual performance/compensation planning process for the region in close collaboration with Global Business Services.

About you

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Reward and Performance roles with previous experience in HealthCare or Consumer Goods industries experience a plus. Previous experience working within multinational and multicultural environments.
  • Soft and technical skills: Strong capacity to combine strategic and operational work. Team working skills including an ability to work across borders, cultures and within multi-disciplinary teams. Strong communication skills including the ability to prepare and present technical topics. Ability to analyze, synthesize and find pragmatic and effective solutions to challenges. In addition, have experience of using excel/Workday knowledge.

  • Languages: Complete fluency in English & German.
