Windows Systems Engineer - Active Directory, Azure, Powershell - vacancy requiring profound Active Directory, Azure, Powershell knowledge for our Basel based client in the banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining core Windows Server infrastructure services with a strong focus on security hardening, automated deployments, patch management, and life cycle management
• Supporting and optimizing Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, SQL Server, Azure ARC, Citrix VDI, SCOM, SCCM, and related technologies
• Developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to streamline and automate routine tasks
• Configuring, installing, and managing SQL Servers to ensure high availability and performance
• Applying Agile and DevOps practices within the Infrastructure and Operations team to improve efficiency and deliverables
• Collaborating across teams, including networking, cloud, and other business units, to enhance overall infrastructure performance and scalability

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive Windows/Active Directory experience is a must
• Proven expertise in designing, building, and maintaining Microsoft-based solutions over the last 5 years
• Advanced knowledge of Windows security features, operating system hardening (eg, CIS, NIST, Microsoft), and Firewall/zoning concepts
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting to automate processes and tasks
• Strong understanding of Windows Server infrastructure and associated technologies
• University degree in computer science or related field
• Language skills: English - fluent
