Your new job as a Year 1 Teacher would be to teach the full primary curriculum to lower key stage 1 children and to consistently aid their development. You must hold the highest expectations of all pupils and explain ideas with clarity and enthusiasm to capture the imagination of the children. A good knowledge of phonics would be desirable. What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this new role, you must be confident in teaching the lower key stage 1 curriculum. You must be able to work as part of a team that goes the extra-mile for the children. You must be able to create an engaging and effective environment, allowing children to develop their creativity and initiative in a safe and secure environment.
