A large, welcoming three-form entry primary school in Coventry is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to join their friendly and supportive team from January to July. Despite its size, the school boasts a close-knit, family-like atmosphere and plays a significant role within the local community.

Your new role
In this position, you will assume all the teaching responsibilities of a permanent staff member. You will collaborate with your Year 2 team to plan lessons, participate in staff meetings, attend teacher training days, and assist in or lead end-of-year assemblies. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing end-of-year reports. You will be paid according to your teaching scale point.

What you'll need to succeed

• A valid QTS.
• A passion for teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1.
• Confidence in your teaching abilities.
• Strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and creativity
