Key Stage 2 Teacher - Year 5 Essex
Location: Essex, South OckendonContract: Full-time / Temporary (potential to go permanent)Start date: January 2025
Your new schoolAn opportunity has arisen for a Year 5 teacher in a school in Essex, South Ockendon.
Located at the southern end of South Ockendon, the school is set within approximately 8 acres of pleasant grounds. Their part-time Nursery Class welcomes children from the age of 3, with a maximum of 26 places available for both morning and afternoon sessions.

Your role as a Year 5 Teacher

Teaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil's learning, setting clear targets for pupils' learning based on prior attainment

Fulfil the School's and National assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate

Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning

Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies

What you will need to succeed for this Year 5 Teacher roleA successful candidate will:

Must hold QTS status

Have recent experience of working in primary schools in the UK

Have good interpersonal skills

Show good standards of professionalism, being well organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales
