Hays are supporting a public sector organisation to recruit a permanent Cloud Engineer. The role offers flexible working arrangements and the office is based in North Bristol. The salary on offer is between £50,000 - £55,000pa. The team will be happy to look at mid-level engineers wanting to progress in their career and upskill.

Your new role & what you'll need to succeed
In the role you'll work in the Agile team to support Azure Cloud Automation processes. You will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure to support CI/CD of IT services across the organisation. You'll promote best practice in terms of DevOps principals and support the organisation in a pivotal role in their IT service modernisation programme. To be considered for the role you'll need good working knowledge of Azure, Automation and DevOps. Experience with on premise/hybrid infrastructure would be beneficial. High level understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation is essential. You'll also need to have experience working in agile environments and have good stakeholder management skills.
